Duties And Responsibilities

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of instrumentation and electrical equipment to ensure they meet operational standards
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues to identify and resolve problems quickly, minimizing downtime
  • Repairs: Execute necessary repairs or replacements of malfunctioning electrical components, control systems, and instrumentation to restore equipment to proper working condition
  • Instrument Calibration: Calibrate and configure various instruments, including pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves, to maintain accuracy and reliability
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance, and update maintenance logs and databases as required
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring that all work is performed safely and that all equipment meets safety standards
  • Emergency Response: Act promptly during emergency situations to mitigate risks and restore equipment functionality
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and operations teams to support new installations, upgrades, and modifications to instrumentation and electrical systems
  • Training: Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and attend training sessions to enhance skills and stay current with emerging technologies
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for repairs and maintenance activities
