A dynamic family residing in a beautiful townhouse on the UES. The household is bustling with three young children under five, a dedicated live-in nanny, a daily housekeeper and a doorman/chauffeur.
The wife is a grounded and kind person in the wellness, and children’s health space. The husband manages his hedge fund from his home office. They are seeking an experienced and proactive Personal Assistant/Family Assistant to join their team and help manage their busy lives.
This will be their first assistant as a family and we are hoping to find a candidate who will make this job their own
Job Description:
You will play a vital role in ensuring the household runs smoothly and efficiently. You will provide comprehensive support to both the wife and husband, handling a variety of tasks that range from administrative duties to assisting with family logistics and household management.
Responsibilities:
Family Assistance:
- Coordinate the children’s schedules, including playdates, appointments, and activities.
- Liaise with the live-in nanny and housekeeper to ensure smooth household operations.
- Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping, and occasionally preparing healthy meals/snacks.
- Manage medical appointments, camp and kindergarten calendars.
- Handle errands and light shopping as needed.
Personal Assistance:
- Assist the wife with managing her online presence, including scheduling posts, coordinating with brands, and managing social media accounts.
- Occasionally organize client dinners and meetings for the husband
- Arrange travel, accommodations, and itineraries for family trips and business travel.
Household Management:
- Oversee household maintenance and repairs, liaising with service providers and contractors.
- Manage household inventories and supplies.
- Plan and coordinate family events and gatherings.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Family Assistant, or in a similar role.
- Experience working in the home
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in social media platforms and basic office software.
- Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with care.
- Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of a busy household.
