As the HR Business Partner, your role will be based in the Baton Rouge office. Your primary responsibility revolves around providing strategic leadership and guidance to assigned groups, with a focus on Human Resource planning, program development, and optimization. This comprehensive role extends support to all regional office locations, emphasizing the promotion of programs, policies, and fostering positive employee engagement. Your daily tasks involve effective collaboration with business leaders to manage employee relations and performance, strategic coaching on key HR strategy such as succession planning, career path development, and performance management. Leading talent assessments and facilitating onboarding and offboarding processes are integral components of your role. This position offers two remote days at home per week.

Requirements:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field where you demonstrated proficiency with human resources operations, functions and processes. Additionally, you have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar role with progressive responsibility.
  • You hold or are interested in pursuing an active Professional Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification, showcasing proficiency
  • You demonstrate expertise in making sound strategic HR decisions and talent assessment, contributing to organizational success
  • You excel in adapting to changing environments, navigating complexity, and strategically promote an inclusive/diverse workforce. You enjoy leveraging these skills for organizational success
  • You confidently voice opinions, remain open to new ideas, and willingly deliver tough feedback/coaching to leadership. You enjoy fostering effective communication within the team
