Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage security alerts through Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, escalating where necessary
• Conduct in-depth analysis of potential threats, vulnerabilities, and malicious activities
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to enhance system security
• Perform root cause analysis and document incident responses
• Collaborate with the IT team to identify security gaps and recommend solutions
• Keep up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies
• Participate in the deployment and configuration of security tools within the Microsoft stack
• Provide insights and guidance to junior team members regarding security best practices

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in cyber security or a related field
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and other security tools in the Microsoft ecosystem
• Strong understanding of network security, threat analysis, and vulnerability management
• Ability to analyze security alerts and conduct thorough investigations
• Familiarity with cloud security principles (Azure preferred)
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft Security certifications (preferred)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical teams
