  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position: Business Intelligence Specialist (remote position-must live in TN)
Location: Nashville TN - remote but looking local candidate
Contract to hire (No visa dependent candidate at this time)
Duration: 09/09/2024 - 09/23/2025
Job Summary and Responsibilities:
  • Under the supervision of the Director of Data Manager, this position develops, modifies, and analyzes data components and creates insights for a business intelligence technology solution. This position either works in a team collaboration or independently on data projects while optimizing resource utilization and ensuring proper controls are implemented through data management and meeting user requirements.
  • Develops and schedules Extract Transform Load (ETL) solutions that recognize dependencies, pre-processing tasks, and post-processing tasks for data administration, using SSMS, and SSIS.
  • Understands pertinent data models and business processes to fulfill user requests for maintenance, support, and enhancements.
  • Develops and maintains complex data storage structures needed to support data warehouse functions to ensure data is maintained in consistent formats.
  • Builds, updates, and monitors the data warehouse and business systems performances maintaining integrity.
  • Knowledge of OLAP cubes, DataMart, and perspectives using SSAS and experience in all the stages of a BI development environment.
  • Research and troubleshoot reported problems, validate data results, and ensure logic requirements are met.
  • Deploys solutions utilizing Business Intelligence concepts, such as data mining, and trend analysis to provide insights.
  • Design and develop Tableau & PowerBI report visualization including complex dashboard design through MDX queries.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent education in computer science, math, or related science field required.
  • 5+ years of writing query languages using SQL Server management studio with T-SQL required.
  • 5 years of experience of working on Business Intelligence development tools SSIS required.
  • 3 to 5 years of knowledge of Data Analysis in Production, Development and Staging Environments.
  • 3+ years of experience working on dashboard development in Tableau and PoweBI.
  • Expert knowledge using on source control tools (TFS, Visual Source Safe).
