Description: We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) who will be responsible for managing Oracle database operations and backups, detecting and preventing data corruption, and ensuring database security and performance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Oracle RMAN backups, database optimization, and database maintenance routines, as well as experience with SQL Server and cloud-based environments.

Required Skills:
Expertise in Oracle database administration and Oracle RMAN backup/recovery processes.
Experience with detecting and resolving data corruption, performance issues, and database failures.
Knowledge of Oracle s best practices for security, patching, and maintenance.
Experience with SQL Server (preferably 2014 and above), including upgrading, patching, and troubleshooting.
In-depth knowledge of SQL Profiler, database indexing, and performance tuning.
Experience administering databases in virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Windows batch, PowerShell, Python) for automating database management tasks.
Familiarity with database monitoring tools and techniques (SQL Profiler, Oracle Enterprise Manager, etc.).
Ability to troubleshoot database and server-related issues using logs and performance metrics.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with in-depth database tuning, query optimization, and index management.
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and its integration with databases.
Knowledge of disaster recovery planning, failover clustering, and high-availability strategies.
Proven ability to research and evaluate new database technologies and tools for future implementation.
