About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Program Director to manage awarded task orders and drive business development. This role is essential to ensuring contract delivery and supporting APV s growth through the capture of new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Task Order Management & Oversight
- Manage day-to-day operations of awarded task orders, ensuring contract delivery meets client expectations.
- Oversee Project Managers and ensure all deliverables are met.
- Ensure staffing for task orders with qualified personnel, ensuring performance standards are upheld.
- Maintain Profit & Loss accountability for awarded task orders and manage project budgets effectively.
- Achieve Exceptional CPARS ratings on each task order.
- Serve as Project Manager for select task orders, maintaining 50% billability.
2. Business Development & Account Management
- Lead recompete efforts for existing task orders.
- Leverage your network and expertise to identify, pursue, and win new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute Capture Plans for new opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with federal clients and contracting officers.
- Lead task order submissions, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience managing L&D and HR operations personnel and day-to-day project execution.
- Business acumen with the ability to manage financials and project budgets.
- Proven business development experience, with success in identifying and securing new government work.
- Strong knowledge of federal acquisition and contracting processes.
- Experience managing small to mid-level government projects.
Education:
- Master s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- PMP certification is a plus.
Highly Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with senior executives in federal agencies.
- Existing relationships with federal agencies or the ability to establish them quickly.
- Ability to create and execute account plans based on client budgets and priorities.
