  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Governance Architect with expertise in Data. World to lead our enterprise-wide data governance strategy and framework. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and oversee data governance solutions that ensure data quality, privacy, and compliance while enhancing data access and usability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Governance Strategy:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive data governance strategy, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Architect and implement data governance solutions using Data. World platform capabilities.
  • Manage data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage tools within the Data. World platform.
  • Train and mentor teams on best practices for leveraging Data. World features for enhanced data governance.
  • Define and enforce data quality standards, KPIs, and controls.
  • Establish data stewardship processes to manage data ownership, quality, and usage effectively.
  • Ensure that data governance processes comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant data protection regulations.
  • Work with legal and compliance teams to maintain data policies aligned with regulatory frameworks.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, IT, and business teams to align governance initiatives with data management strategies.
  • Work closely with business units to ensure data governance frameworks support decision-making and analytics.
  • Oversee the development of an enterprise-wide metadata management framework, ensuring clear and consistent data definitions.
  • Establish workflows for ongoing metadata updates and governance processes.
  • Implement and manage data lineage solutions to trace data flow across systems.
  • Develop an efficient data cataloging process to improve data discoverability and usability for end users.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance the organization s data governance capabilities.
  • Provide ongoing management and optimization of governance tools, including the Data.World platform.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field (Master s preferred).

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in data governance, data architecture, or data management roles.
  • Proven experience implementing data governance frameworks using Data.World.
  • Expertise in data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage solutions.
  • Strong experience with data quality frameworks and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in Data.World platform for data governance and cataloging.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Strong knowledge of data management tools (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, Talend).
  • Knowledge of data modeling, SQL, and metadata standards.
