Job Summary:
- The position works to protect more than 20,000 devices on the State of Maine network. This position will be responsible for evaluating and enhancing the security posture of the State of Maine through expert analysis, strategic recommendations, and implementation of robust cybersecurity measures.
Must haves:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, information security, or a related field, with a proven track record of successful project delivery and client engagement.

Job Description:
- The candidate will possess deep technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities.
- The position will also support the SOC Team Leads and the Security Operations Manager in adequately meeting and addressing the operational demands within the SOC
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, threat intelligence, network security, and incident response. Proficiency with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, encryption).
Analytical Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset.
