1. Key Responsibilities:

a. Architect and design network silicon and systems for advanced networking products, including NICs, smartNICs, and DPUs.

b. Develop and define use-cases, data flow, and control flow for networking products, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions.

c. Collaborate with software, hardware, and firmware teams to integrate and optimize designs.

d. Provide expertise in DPDK (Data Plane Development Kit) and its application in high-performance networking systems.

e. Understand and define the control and data planes for networking devices, ensuring robust and secure network operation.

f. Work with product management and engineering teams to translate business and technical requirements into architectural specifications.

g. Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in network silicon and systems technologies.

2. Qualifications:

a. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

b. 8+ years of experience in network silicon and systems architecture, with a focus on NICs, smartNICs, and DPUs.

c. Strong understanding of DPDK and its role in high-performance networking solutions.

d. Deep knowledge of control and data planes for networking devices, including experience with network protocols and packet processing.

e. Proven ability to define and implement use-cases, data flows, and control flows for complex networking systems.

f. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

g. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and disciplines.

3. Preferred Qualifications:

a. Experience with networking protocols, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, and RDMA.

b. Experience with FPGA or ASIC design for networking applications.

c. Familiarity with virtualization technologies and their impact on networking systems.
