Job Description

We are seeking motivated, driven, and experiencedCollectorsto join our growing team!

You will play a crucial role in negotiating payment arrangements for customers who have fallen past due on their loan. Every deal you close puts youone step closer to unlocking unlimited earning potential!

What You’ll Do:

• Engage in respectful and persuasive conversations with customers to overcome objections, reach payment arrangements, and encourage timely payment of overdue loan accounts.
• Meet and exceed performance metrics, including collection quotas, number of calls, on-call time etc.
• Provide clear information and guidance to customers on their outstanding balance, payment options, and settlement procedures while addressing their questions and concerns.
• Utilize active listening and empathy to build rapport with debtors, drive customer retention, and promote second chance loan programs.
• Maintain a professional demeanor, adhere to company processes, and ensure accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

What We Look For:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• Prior experience in debt collections and/or a quota driven position within a call center environment is strongly preferred.
• Prior work experience as a collections specialist, collections agent, debt recovery specialist, debt collector, debt collections agentetc. is strongly preferred.
• A positive attitude, resilience, and ability to handle rejection gracefully.
• Results-oriented and target-driven mindset with a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve collections quotas.
• Adaptability to evolving negotiation techniques, strategies, and product offerings.
• Exhibits a can-do attitude, is coachable, and motivated to achieve quotas.
• Extremely reliable and dependable.
• Excellent negotiation skills and strong comfortability with persistence.
• Strong ability to remain professional in escalated customer situations.
• Strong ability to describe and explain products and services to consumers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Proficient in Outlook, and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  
  

Additional Information

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you will be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The starting hourly rate for this job is $20.00 per hour.
