POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for facilitating classroom size groups, for K-5th grade, organizing the cross-age buddies’ program and facilitating all additional units as relates to the Caring School Community curriculum. CSC is a nationally recognized evidenced based program and must be followed as designed. This is a moderate level of autonomy and a moderate range of internal/external contacts.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Facilitate large groups and manage group dynamics.
  • Punctual and ready to work.

  • Work cooperatively in a team setting.
  • Follow guidance and direction from supervisors.
  • Uphold the agency's core values and mission.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suites.
  • Facilitate K-5th grade groups using the Caring School Community curriculum.
  • Document activities related to the Caring School Community program.
  • Conduct class meetings and sessions as per CSC Curriculum.
  • Make presentations about YFA programs and services.
  • Participate in program-related meetings and supervision sessions.
  • Provide input on program improvements and redesign as requested.
  • Conduct community outreach programs.
  • Complete assigned tasks to ensure clients receive necessary services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or leadership.
  • Trained and authorized to access protected health information.

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED:

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred; or 4+ years directly in human services, preferably in counseling.

Physical Requirements: Ability to travel regionally on a regular basis and statewide as needed; ability to bend, lift, and carry 30 pounds.
