  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.

POSITION TITLE: Patient Facilitator

REPORTS TO: Director of Sites

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

CareSTL Health is seeking Patient Facilitators to join our team! The Patient Facilitator establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The following information is considered the definition of essential functions but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. The Medical Assistant 1 may be reassigned duties and responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other staffing reasons.

  • Answers and direct phone calls and greets and receives all patient/visitors presenting themselves to respective modules for service as well as responsible for internal referrals
  • Collects all forms accompanying patients; verifies each patient’s present address, zip code, and phone number
  • Performs basic administrative duties accurately and by deadlines, including printing, copying, and filing patient records
  • Obtains patient signatures on appropriate forms for medical records and billing purposes i.e. release of information, lab and documents appropriately in EMR
  • Attends to patient needs when called and addresses patient concerns and queries professionally


Additional Job Duties
  • Works under the guidance of Supervisor to perform patient care services
  • Participates as assigned on organization teams
  • Performs all other duties as assigned


JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required


Experience:

  • Up to 1 year of experience


Additional Information:
  • Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • 11 paid holidays per year.
