SUMMARY: Responsible for providing daily desktop support to employees.

COMPENSATION: Commensurate on experience

LOCATION: South of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide Desk-side support of end-user issues, such as:
    • New user and equipment deployment
    • Internal application troubleshooting
    • Support ticket processing and management
    • Proactive documentation of technical procedures
  • Ensure proper notes and documentation of all assigned tasks
  • Cross-train with other technicians. Must be able to work in a team-player environment.
  • Must be able to work significant overtime while traveling up to 20% of the time
  • Operate and monitor equipment and systems associated with running live streamed events at on-site and remote locations.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • High School degree required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT preferred
  • At least 3-5 years of practical Apple hardware and software experience:
    • Modern Apple Mac desktop and laptop experience (2016 Intel Mac and greater, 2020 Apple Silicon Mac and greater)
    • Modern macOS experience (macOS High Sierra and greater)
    • Modern Apple mobile device experience (iPhone/iPad, iOS 12 and greater)
  • Worked with Apple systems on at least a weekly basis for two years or more
  • Previous work as an Apple retail Genius or Apple support specialist is a plus but not required
  • Experience with Apple device management (Apple Configurator or MDM equivalent) is a plus
  • Experience with managing or administering Jamf is a plus; Jamf certifications greater than or equal to Jamf 170 are preferred.
  • A+ and Network+ preferred
  • Proficiency in Windows-based PCs
  • Experience with A/V systems, mixers, etc.
  • Experience with desktop imaging practices
  • Experience with Quest KACE is desired but not required
  • Ability to lift to 50lbs
Work Environment

This is an on-site (not hybrid) role. Individuals must be able to work independently in a fast-paced team environment. Candidates must also have reliable transportation due to user groups located at multiple Dallas facilities and the necessity to travel to those locations. This role is on-call once out of every two months and may require travel at least one to two times per calendar quarter and requires travel one week out of every six to eight weeks. To meet business needs, some evenings may be required. This position may also provide occasional Executive support offsite.
