Director of Sales - West Palm Beach
The Director of Sales is responsible for acquiring occupancy goals through marketing and sales activities such as tours, regular follow-up, developing referral sources, partnering with current sources, maintain a viable waiting list of qualified applicants to move into the community. The Director of Sales will be the face of our community representing the company brand as you educate the general community about our amazing services and amenities, and host events on site and off site.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred, or one to two years' experience and or training, or equivalent of education and experience.
Previous sales/admission experience in senior living.
Experience in elderly care, including individuals with dementia.
Flexible schedule.
Knowledge of Excel, Word and other software programs.
Basic Summary of Duties
Accurately tracks all sales activities. Reports sales activity weekly/monthly to the VP of Sales and Marketing.
Maintains an up-to-date and accurate database for all prospects, professionals, and responsible parties including follow-up procedures such as calls, emails, tours.
Maintains a viable wait list of qualified potential residents.
Maintains a complete understanding of deposits and lease procedures. Effectively communicates procedures to prospective residents and their families.
Creates, maintains, and builds relationships with viable referral sources through visits, events and other means of communication.
Schedule, organize and conduct tours with prospective residents.
Respond and follow-up with all referral sources to include but not limited to walk-ins, phone ins, mail-ins timely and appropriately.
Create, plan, and implement with Marketing and Program Director events to bring in prospective residents such as but not limited to seminars, speakers, themed events, and family nights.
Maintain a working knowledge of all software programs.
Participate in Manager on Duty rotation.
Understand the need of the senior and the aging process.
