Interview Mode: Virtual via MS Teams

Work Location: 100% onsite in Baltimore for the first two weeks. After initial two weeks, hybrid schedule with three days of telework. Must live within a one (1) hour commute time to the client office, should they need to be called in for unscheduled office time.

Responsibilities

  • Development and support of data integration solutions, analytics frameworks, and ETL processes using Talend
  • Design, create, and maintain Talend jobs for data import, data refresh, report generation, and application executions
  • Design, develop, test, and debug new software or enhancements to existing software
  • Perform requirement analysis, interact with various teams to iterate functionality in alignment with customer needs
  • Present application demo to the project team and customer
  • Create technical design specifications, present technical design to fellow team members
  • Perform maintenance on existing software products and contribute knowledge of business applications
  • Investigate and resolve bugs and deficiencies in the product codebase
  • Participate in agile ceremonies
  • Build stories, maintain data to streamline the software development process and enhance productivity
  • Provide development estimates for new development initiatives and enhancement requests
  • Triage issues by performing data analysis using SQL queries, application logs
  • Document root cause analysis (RCA) and presents it to the team
  • Participate in collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams to launch new products, features, and services on time and within budget
  • Designing, developing, and implementing ETL processes using Talend
  • Monitoring, supporting, and troubleshooting production using Talend
  • Upgrading Talend in production
  • Setting up Talend SVN repository
  • Continuously assess and enhance data integration processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Conducting proof of concepts, staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, driving innovation within the team

Minimum Requirements

  • 7 years in hands-on design, development with a focus on Talend pipelines
  • Strong technical proficiency in Talend and other relevant analytics and ETL tools
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • 7 years of Oracle experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
