Job Description
Location: Remote - Ideally PST or CST
The main function of the Data Scientist is to develop machine learning models driven by exploratory data analysis from complex and high-dimensional datasets, and collaborate with Engineers for product integration. The candidate will work with a wide set of problems such as feature based machine learning, search recommendation, computer vision and more recently gen AI. The primary focus is finance, and the purpose is to utilize tools to identify risk.
Job Responsibilities:
Apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries leading to prototype development.
Use a flexible, analytical approach to design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms that lead to optimal value extraction from the data.
Generate and test hypotheses and analyze and interpret the results of product experiments.
Work with product engineers to translate prototypes into new products, services, and features and provide guidelines for large-scale implementation.
Must Have Skillsets:
Experienced with programming languages such as Python
Experienced with big data tools such as Hadoop and data querying languages such as SQL.
Experienced with ML Ops development.
The ability to communicate effectively in writing and presentation to audiences with diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience working as a data scientist at a recognizable company
Experience with building industry models - grade ML models
Education/Experience:
Master of Science degree in computer science or in a relevant field.

Day to Day
Will most likely be working in finance- our account receivable and payables to evaluate high level risk.
How to evaluate the risk of the advertiser to provide their payments to us. Is there a way to use machine learning to identify high risk , low risk / credit to the advertiser?
Building data and ML products, working in a large organization- candidate needs to be balanced, need to be technical but have strong soft skills
