Client is a leading human resources consulting firm. They provide Professional Employer Organization (PEO), human resources consulting to external clients.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resource Generalist’s role will focus on:

  • Managing client relationships. Will perform HR-related duties at a professional level while maintaining a strong focus on customer service.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  1. Partners with our clients, their management team and employees to implement and communicate various human resource policies, procedures, and laws.
  2. Works closely with other internal departments meet the needs of the client on a daily basis.
  3. Manages the employee onboarding and benefit elections for new clients.
  4. Provides communication and facilitation of the annual benefit open enrollment process and answers routine benefits questions for managers and employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Fundamental knowledge of HR practices, protocols, and regulations. This should include working knowledge of basic benefit plans.
  2. Demonstrated fluency in HR systems. UKG Ready experience a plus.
  3. Ability to use an array of software packages, including MS Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, and Access.
  4. Exceptional ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  5. Ability to function as a team member and effectively build relationships with management, peers, staff and clients.
  6. Ability to meet deadlines and set priorities with effective distribution of time and effort.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or a related field. 2-3 years Human Resources experience. Knowledge of PEO or HR Outsourcing models a plus.
