Our client, a financial services firm based in New York, NY, is seeking a hybrid Operations and Client Service Associate. The Operations and Client Services Associate is the single point of contact of escalation to members, clients and exchanges and has the ultimate responsibility of ensuring a positive experience in respect to the firm's suite of products. The Operations and Client Services team works closely with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure queries and issues are followed through to resolution. Candidates must have exposure to fixed income products, credit default swaps, and have experience in clearing and related trade workflow. This is a highly visible role, working with sales and marketing as well as senior management.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of central clearing and trade workflow is preferable.
  • Basic knowledge of Credit Default Swaps
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills, with good attention to detail.
  • Strong computational skills with MS Excel.
  • Good interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Proactive and driven.
  • Able to manage workload/priorities themselves and demonstrates ability to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
