Our client is searching for a Senior Welding Engineer that has robotics experience for a full-time job a few miles south of Louisville, Ky.
The starting salary for this position will be around 75,000 to 90,000 annually.
Duties:
Specify welding equipment, welding consumables, electrical and mechanical systems, robotic systems, and any related components associated with the welding process.
Evaluate processes and procedures to maintain or improve weld parameters and weld efficiency.
Assist in development of the weld quality control process.
Required Experience:
  • Working knowledge MIG welding processes.
  • Knowledge in robotic welding and material handling applications.
  • Knowledge in robotic programming
  • Weld power source, wire feeder, torch and reamer experience
  • Custom welding specifications and testing requirements
  • Gas metal arc welding
  • Resistance spot welding
  • Self-piercing rivet applications
