Job Description
Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a CNC Routerin Greenville, SC. The CNC Router Specialist is responsible for training and operating CNC routing machinery to cut aluminum and plastic parts/materials as needed to manufacture signage products.
Responsibilities Of a CNC Router Include
Coordinate with plant supervisors and CAD department to optimize; part production rates, router operator training, machine maintenance, and development for strategies for new parts and processes.
Set up, modify and operate CNC router machine to cut aluminum and plastic parts/materials.
Read and interpret work order sheets, blueprints and engineering drawings to determine the workload requirements.
Gather, load and position required materials into CNC router machine for processing.
Perform basic machine maintenance as needed to prevent jams, deterioration and other processing issues.
Document and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department team lead/supervisor.
Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications, using various measuring tools.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition following prescribed safety regulations.
Ensure tasks are completed as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
Train new operators to all items above.
Attend meetings as needed and designated by management.
Job Requirements Of a CNC Router
Required training in vocational school, related on the job experience, or a high school diploma or GED>
6+ months of experience working as a CNC equipment operator. Preferably knowledgeable in signage manufacturing industry
Capable of lifting up to 25lbs consistently
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch and climb for long periods of time.
