Job Description

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for Assembly Technicians in Madison, AL. responsible for constructing and assembling the body and components of vehicles according to specific designs and quality standards. This role requires hands-on skills in metalworking, welding, and assembly, ensuring that the vehicles meet all safety and functionality requirements.

Responsibilities of an Assembly Technicians includes, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assemble the body frame, panels, and interior components of vehicles following blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment required for metal cutting, drilling, and welding.
  • Fit, align, and secure ambulance body parts using bolts, screws, or welding.
  • Install and fit doors, windows, and interior features like cabinets, seats, and medical equipment mounts.
  • Inspect completed units to ensure proper alignment and adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform troubleshooting and rework on assemblies to resolve any defects or non-conformance issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and production supervisors to meet production schedules and deadlines.

Job Requirements Of An ASSEMBLY TECHNICIANS

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
  • Experience in manufacturing, metalworking, or mechanical assembly (automotive production preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with welding, cutting, and fabrication tools and techniques.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and a high standard of workmanship.
