Cloud Support Engineer

TEKsystems is working with a local client in Appleton, WI that is looking to add a member to their to team to support their hybrid multi-cloud environment. As a member of this team, your primary role will be involved in the day-to-day support and operations of both our on-premises private cloud environment as well as our public cloud environments in Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
Qualified candidates would possess 1 - 3 years of previous Windows Server administration experience. Any type of background with scripting or automation would be nice to have and any experience with the cloud would be a plus such as an Azure certification.
Day to day duties include:
Participate in all aspects of the operational support life cycle including identification/reception of incidents, troubleshoot, track and document incidents to resolution, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures
Participate in monthly maintenance, performance tuning, and continuous process improvement
In collaboration with engineering teams, at the direction of the lead architects implement automation used in creating and managing traditional infrastructure components as well as cloud native infrastructure in both on-premises and public cloud environments heavily utilizing Infrastructure as Code practices
Document and execute enhancements to infrastructure and modifications to configurations for on-premises and cloud environments at the direction of the lead architects.
