Production Designer

Duration: 6+ months w2 contract
Location: Memphis, TN
Top skills required:
Strong design expertise, print production knowledge / understanding, strong collaborator, experienced in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, illustrator, acrobat, as well as Microsoft Office products:

• Someone with graphic design and/or production design experience that has worked on print collateral materials.
• Experience acquired through working in an agency, in-house creative department or freelance.
• Someone who has experience working within brand guidelines.
• Someone with attention to detail and good time management skills.

Examples of daily workflow items this contractor will help support:
Creating marketing materials from existing creative
Making revisions to design collateral
Keeping project status updated in project management system
Routing creative work through system
Description:
Supports the creative team through the creative development, technical production, timely execution and serving as a functional production designer for design projects including marketing collateral, advertising, presentations and publications.

Works closely with creative and production leads, print buyers and operations teams to ensure overall consistency, accuracy and timeliness of materials as well as the management of complex projects and sophisticated technical design requirements.

Handles rush design requests as needed. Competent in the use of the Mac operating system and Microsoft Office applications; understanding and skill in current design software and technology applications, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Skilled in presentation software including Microsoft PowerPoint and Apple Keynote.
• Knowledge ordinarily acquired through a Bachelor's degree in Production Art, Graphic Design, Advertising or related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
