Description: Our client is currently seeking a CIVIL ENGINEER ASSOCIATE
Position Summary: ? Provide civil engineering support for Transmission Line Engineering department ? Utilize PLS-CADD software to design and analyze transmission lines according to industry and company standards ?
Develop functional and detailed scoping documents for estimating purposes ? Order material for construction. ? Create construction drawing packages
Attend project and team meetings
? Perform site visits as needed
? Competence in the use of computer software PLS-CADD
? Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software
? Proper document archiving at project closeout.
Minimum Requirements: This is an entry level position for new graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural engineering in a program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
Additional: Provide civil/structural engineering support for substation capital projects, Work with project planners/sponsors, project leads and various stakeholders to develop the most effective design approach and solutions considering safety, cost, schedule, constructability, and operation and maintenance requirements.
Provide support to construction and professional field service personnel to resolve issues and concerns during the construction phase of projects.
Will also consider Civil Engineer level candidates with the following:
Minimum Requirements Has typically acquired 2 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural engineering in a program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation
