Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Confluent Kafka Developer to join the Raymond James Enterprise Data & Analytics team, with expertise in Terraform and AWS. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing our data streaming infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and high performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Confluent Kafka.

Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to automate deployment and management of Kafka clusters on AWS.

Optimize Kafka clusters for performance, reliability, and scalability.

Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka clusters and data pipelines to ensure high availability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Kafka with various applications and systems.

Stay updated with the latest developments in Kafka, Terraform, and AWS technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our infrastructure.
