Throughout the 9-week paid Marketing internship, there will be inspiring opportunities that welcome you into the Schwab culture and immerse you into your role. The interactive program focuses on a variety of opportunities which feature a business track project, an intern cohort project, learning activities, volunteering in the community, a dedicated intern leader, networking, and exploring your unique personal strengths! In this role, you will learn how to manage the Schwab brand, develop impactful Schwab advertising, and create marketing touch points and communications that our clients interact with across a variety of channels. If you are passionate about gaining insight into teams such as Investor Product Marketing, Trader, Brand, Data & Analytics, Marketing Technology and Client Marketing, this is the role for you.

What you have

As an intern, it's not about what you know, it's about what you are willing to learn. We're seeking passionate students who are ready to own their Early Talent career and have the courage to ask "why".

Required Qualifications:
  • Be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree or master's degree program
  • Have enough credit hours to put you at a junior level status at a 4-year college or university
  • Have not already completed your bachelor's degree
  • Able and willing to relocate to Austin, TX at your own expense if relocation is needed
  • Ability to work full time and be on-site in Austin, TX during the 9-week program (June 9, 2025 to August 8, 2025)
  • Able to start full time employment during business hours between August 2025 - September 2026

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management Public Relations, Data & Analytics or related major
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with examples of opportunities you had to utilize those to achieve a purpose
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint
  • Resourcefulness and flexibility, who enjoy working through cross-functional partnerships, collaborating to achieve a common purpose, and managing multiple projects at one time
  • An innovative and questioning demeanor, who constantly look for better ways to do things, have a passion for service, and seek to exceed client expectations
