Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a talented and experienced Modeling and Simulation Lead to join our team! In this role you will lead a large team performing complex high-to-medium fidelity systems-of-systems modeling and simulation of weapon systems including the design, development, integration, and execution of the ITASE Modeling and Simulation (M&S) framework.

The Parsons team supports a customer providing a critical role in our nation's defense by assessing, developing, and bringing together intelligence-backed, medium- to high-fidelity threat system models from across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise into an integrated wargame simulation environment. Parsons has supported this customer for 20+ years with an established, growing team and customer relationships.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Working closely with the customer to understand and deliver quality products that accomplish their mission
  • Extracting customer requirements and associate concepts with current architecture, model, and tool capabilities to identify and resolve any deficiencies required to meet customer goals
  • Coordinating multiple tasks, staff and subcontractors performing analysis
  • Understanding engineering designs supplied by the customer and leading teams of staff and/or subcontractors to develop software models and simulation architectures that represent the systems at the fidelity necessary to meet customer goals
  • Work through the entire development process, including requirements definition, design, development, integration, testing, verification, and validation
  • Oversee the evolution of the technical baseline and plan transition steps that add emerging capabilities while maintaining existing products
  • Use modeling and simulation tools to answer intelligence questions

Clearance Required:

    What Required Skills You'll Bring:
    • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or similar discipline, and 20+ years of experience
    • Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining system-of-systems simulation architectures and integrating models
    • Deep technical experience with C4 Systems, Radar, Directed Energy Weapons, Surface to Air Missile Systems, Ballistic Missiles and/or Anti-Satellite weapons
    • Experience developing software in C++ and leading software teams
    • Experience with modeling and simulation of weapons systems
    • Experience designing, developing, and operating code for a distributed processing environment
    • Experience developing software models of C4, Radar, interceptor and sensor subsystems
    • Ability to mentor and provide task leadership

    Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph

    Salary Range:
    $140,700.00 - $253,300.00
