Summary:
As the Senior Manager of Marketing for *** Sports, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing comprehensive product marketing campaigns that drive adoption and user growth. This role requires a deep expertise in product marketing, growth marketing, paid media, CRM, and audience insights. You will lead integrated marketing initiatives for some of the company s most prominent products and collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to advance our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Sports Knowledge: This person must live, breathe sports and have a good grasp of the sports fan and fantasy player.
Setting Customer Journeys: Understand how to plot customer journeys across owned platforms of email, banners, push notifications and in app placements.
Product Marketing: Working closely with the product management team to create clear reasons to believe for products and product features that resonate with core audiences.
Lifecycle Marketing: Be an expert in CRM and audience segmentation and understand how and when to send emails, push notifications and other targeted comms to effectively recruit and retain users.
Campaign Leadership: Execute marketing campaigns flawlessly that integrate brand-building and growth strategies to enhance business performance, brand visibility, and product adoption.
Brand Strategy: Master brand strategy to ensure a cohesive and impactful brand narrative that resonates across all marketing channels.
Measurement: Work closely with internal and external data teams to set clear goals and KPIs. Establish a responsive culture to enhance marketing campaigns and achieve both campaign-specific and annual KPIs.
Implement growth marketing tactics to drive measurable results and optimize customer acquisition and retention.
Paid Media Management: Manage and optimize paid media campaigns across various platforms, including search, social, and display, to maximize ROI and meet campaign objectives.
Audience Insights: Utilize data-driven insights to understand and segment target audiences, informing campaign strategies and enhancing marketing effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align on objectives, share insights, and ensure a unified approach to marketing initiatives.
Detail and process oriented: Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and establish a clear process and has a high level of attention to detail.
Requirements:
8+ years experience in a digital marketing, product marketing and management role for a major brand, tech company or agency
Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
Experience with Brand Marketing and Management: identity, positioning, brand architecture, products in B2C and B2B environments.
Experience with product strategy, positioning across audience segmentation and developing product marketing strategies.
Drive to do the work, excellent project management skills to ensure focus on priority assignments, and get it done attitude.
Experience building strong product brands
Entrepreneurial mindset
Start-up experience a plus
Experience with G Suite, Keynote and/or Powerpoint.
Passion for creativity and brand development.
Experience in leveraging data to make informed marketing and creative decisions
Disruptive thinker. Equally skilled and passionate about analytics and creativity.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Experience in fast-moving organizations.
Effective and efficient communicator (written and verbal).
Natural team player with the ability to work with key stakeholders and cross-functional team members.
