Our client in Northern Cincinnati is looking for a Desktop Support Technician (6 month contract-to-hire). The ideal candidate will be able to work a onsite 4 days/week and remote 1 day/week. Pay up to $22/hour W2

Job Description:
Build/configure Windows workstations for corporate associates. Perform advanced software/hardware instillation, troubleshooting and diagnostics. Troubleshoot and respond to user questions. Track and update open incidents/Work Orders and/or escalate problems. Responsible for ensuring the timely completion of all assigned projects and provide weekly status reports to management. Install hardware and software including operating system and office applications. Perform required quality assurance tests.

Requirements:
Dynamic, professional, team-oriented, self-motivated individual; Associate's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related discipline; 4-6 years experience in either computer operations, hardware or deskside support. Highly developed experience in the installation of hardware and software. Advanced Windows 10/11, OneDrive experience, Office 365, advanced working knowledge of networks and network terminology, advanced repair skills for laptops/desktops and peripherals. VMware/VDI knowledge a plus. A+ and MCP certification(s) very desirable.
