Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Functional Analyst who will support our client on an Oracle PeopleSoft Financials Advisory and Implementations project. This project will support the maintenance, management, and enhancement of the NYS Enterprise Financial System by onboarding new agencies, re-architecting business processes, discontinuing customizations, and implementing additional functionality. This role will focus on re-architecture efforts, business analysis, and technical upgrades to optimize the use of PeopleSoft Financials.

Duties:

  • Lead the re-architecture or implementation efforts of PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 to align with best practices.
  • Perform business analysis and testing to ensure that PeopleSoft Financials meets business and functional requirements.=
  • Write complex SQLs and PeopleSoft Queries to extract system data and diagnose issues.
  • Develop design documents and test scripts to support system updates and improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues within PeopleSoft Financials.
  • Utilize PeopleSoft toolsets including XML, SQR, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Datamover, Application Engine, Components Interface, and Application Designer.
  • Apply Oracle's Image release process and system upgrades to production environments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to integrate third-party products with PeopleSoft Financials.
  • Present both business and technical information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Mandatory Skills/ Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in re-architecting or upgrading PeopleSoft Financials version 9.2.
  • Proven business analysis and testing experience with PeopleSoft Financials to meet functional and business needs.
  • Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL and PeopleSoft Queries for system diagnosis and data extraction.
  • Experience creating design documents and test scripts for system updates.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting PeopleSoft Financials issues.
  • Experience with at least three PeopleSoft toolsets, including XML, SQR, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Datamover, Application Engine, Components Interface, and Application Designer.
  • Experience working with public sector clients.
  • Experience applying Oracle's Image release process and system upgrades to existing production applications.

Desirable Skills/ Experience:

  • Experience integrating third-party products with PeopleSoft Financials.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical and business information to all organizational levels.
