Financial Business Integration Manager

Location: Hybrid in Newark only Duration: 9 Months

Job responsibilities will include:

• Develop an in-depth understanding of accounting and corporate finance
• Support critical relationships with internal and external business partners
• Deliver moderately complex medium to large-scale projects from initiation through delivery
• Gather requirements from appropriate process owners, write clear and detailed functional specifications, prioritize features and drive technical scoping as needed
• Drive continuous process improvement by collaborating with stakeholders on the design of new solutions that enhance business performance and achieve established goals
• Ensure consistent and efficient execution of all functions across accounting by working closely with internal business partners and stakeholders to drive the adoption and implementation of global standards, processes, and programs
• Identify and evaluate potential risks/obstacles with minimal direction. Determines appropriate corrective action

Basic qualifications

• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• Experience managing accounting process improvement and/or technology projects with aggressive schedules
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related financial field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience with Workday platform.

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree or Accounting certification (CMA or CPA)
• PMP Certification
• Experience supporting accounting customers to set and effectively manage expectations, project deliverables, and drive resolution when conflicts or issues arise.
• Experience in accounting projects, including requirement gathering and testing in environments with distributed systems
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment similar to a high-tech start-up
• Proven ability to influence and make an impact
• Excellent analytical skills
