We re looking for talented, product-focused, and experienced Software Engineers to help us build and scale an awesome new product under strict deadlines. As part of this team, you ll exercise and develop your skills in both frontend and backend engineering, as well as product management, visual design and system design. It's a stretch role, but if you like wearing many hats and being challenged, then this is the team for you!

What you ll do on a typical day:
This is a hands-on coding role. You ll spend a majority of time implementing user facing features using Javascript, Typescript/Scala, GraphQL and ReactJS,
You ll also participate in stand-up(s) with your direct team, and with cross functional teams to identify and resolve issues
You ll pair up with other engineers on the team when tackling a particularly tricky problem or assist with refactoring an old module.
You'll reach into and develop your technical knowledge while engineering solutions or reviewing pull requests.
You will be expected technical artifacts including but not limited to Technical Design and architecture diagrams,etc

Who you ll collaborate with:
Brainstorm and collaborate closely with product and design.
This is a cross functional initiative, and you ll partner with teams on both product and platform engineering.
We take security seriously, so you ll work closely with them to ensure the safety of Credit Karma s members
Give and solicit real-time feedback from other team members to continually raise the quality of the product and your code.
Evangelize the value of data driven product development within Credit Karma through presentations and conversation with others.


What you ll need:
Minimum 5+ years of experience designing and developing products at scale.
Proficiency with TypeScript/Javascript is required.
A majority of your time will be working with the backend at (GraphQL, Typescript and ReactJs). However, you ll need to jump into the front end, user experience and React.
Comfortable with developing for multiple platforms (mobile web and desktop web).
Comfortable working with ambiguity and moving at a fast pace.
Independently implements code that is clear, concise, and tested, maintaining a high bar for quality and operational excellence
Experience with iterative design and working with cross functional teams.
