Overview: The primary purpose of this full-time position is to plan, coordinate, deliver, and track a wide variety of programs, activities, and events for residents and Housing Choice Voucher holders of Spartanburg Housing and coordinate all youth and young adult programs and events. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Assist Director of Resident Services in identifying, recruiting, and maintaining partnerships with local social service agencies. Plan, develop, promote, implement, track, and report the outcome of Resident Engagement programs, activities, and events. Coordinate all youth and young adult programs and events. Assist with securing grants and fundraising monies. Recruit, support, track and recognize resident and community volunteers. Receives, responds to, and escalates customer service-related emails and other clerical duties. Assists staff and other department staff with special projects. Requirements: Associate's degree in social services or related field; and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in any of the following, office administration, affordable housing, social services, program development, volunteer coordination and/or event planning. Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with youth and young adults.
