We are looking for a Mixed methods UX Researcher to conduct research on assessing the impact of software changes on user interactions, accessibility and usability. Day-to-day activities involve collaborating closely with researchers, designers, PMs & engineers to synthesize internal and external research to provide clear insights, record and analyze perceptual, attitudinal, and behavioral data, perform statistical analyses, construct plots, write study reports, and prepare presentations.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, PMs & engineers to identify, define and deliver meaningful products into the world
Collaboratively execute research roadmaps
Lead various research studies throughout all the phases of the product development cycle
Manage research vendors to help augment the work of the research team
Skills:
Strong communication and collaboration skills across research and product areas
Knowledgeable in design of experiment using standard generative and evaluative methods
Experienced with performing statistical analyses
Flexibility to adapt and overcome obstacles inherent to working with software and hardware prototypes
Experienced with Hardware-based research
Experience with autonomy and decision making to balance demands
Minimum Education/Experience:
MS in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, HCI, Perceptual Psychology, or a related field
5+ years experience in UX research and/or design
Experience working across the full product lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AR/VR technologies
