We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Technical Project Manager to work remotely. This role functions within the information technology industry and primarily involves managing multiple complex IT programs.
Responsibilities:
Spearhead the management of one or more intricate enterprise-wide IT programs comprising various projects
Exhibit agile leadership and a deep comprehension of servant leadership principles
Guide individuals in Agile methodologies and tools
Generate and deliver status reports on project key performance indicators (KPIs), schedules, resources, and milestone delivery
Develop the program strategy, supporting business case, and various enterprise-wide high-level project plans
Ensure seamless integration of projects and fine-tune project scope, timing, and budgets based on business needs
Uphold Scrum values and practices, ensuring the correct use of Scrum process
Communicate with IT leadership, business leadership, and IT Business Consultants to convey program strategy, direction, and changes
Ensure the delivery of all projects within the IT project portfolio on time, within budget, and meeting strategic and business requirements
Monitor key project milestones and recommend adjustments to Project Managers
Collaborate with senior leadership of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve enterprise goals
Manage specific new technical service engineering programs to meet broad service/product objectives
Establish milestones, monitor adherence to plans and schedules, identify delivery risks, and obtain/drive mitigation strategies and solutions
Coordinate across multiple engineering/development teams as needed
Serve as a liaison between deployment and engineering to ensure requirements and design considerations are incorporated to improve the sustainability of software and services
Requirements
Proficiency in Agile Scrum practices and principles
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Familiarity with project management and planning processes, including budgeting and milestone tracking
Ability to manage deployments and make necessary adjustments for project success
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and guide development teams
Knowledge of sustainability practices within project management
Proficiency in creating and analyzing KPI reports
Ability to understand and document business requirements
Background in computer sciences and/or engineering
Experience with enterprise-wide project management
Ability to act as a ScrumMaster when necessary
Proficiency in project planning tools such as 'About Time'
Ability to work effectively with partners and stakeholders
Understanding of status report creation and management.
