Our client, a world-renowned multi-million-dollar manufacturer of outdoor and indoor equipment, is embarking on another exciting phase of technical transformation by expanding and enhancing their internal IT landscape. With a Global presence, over 50 locations, countless publications, & several pioneering projects in the pipeline for the next several years, they are expanding their IT team to accommodate growth fueled through acquisition and product expansion.

They are seeking a full-time, direct hire Master Data Analyst (Material Master) to join their team right away. With an existing local group of internal employees and many 3rd party partners, this Material Master specialist will contribute to Master Data coordination, reporting, and support. Dedicated to managing and overseeing finished goods, semi-finished goods, and procure-to-sell goods within the SAP Material Master database.

Position Summary:

  • Coordinate processes for maintaining, supporting, enhancing, and deactivating SAP Material Master data according to governance rules.
  • Collaborate with various IT and business teams involved in creating and using SAP Material Master data to ensure its integrity and master data accuracy.
  • Provide training and guidance on Material Master processes and the impact of this data across various SAP functions.
  • Generate material codes and assign corresponding UPC codes based on Global standards.
  • Communicate regularly with diverse teams to manage changes in Material Master data.
  • Extract and review SAP data periodically to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide guidance on new requirements for various goods and troubleshoot related issues.
  • Stay informed about SAP, Manufacturing, Finance, and Distribution systems and their interaction with Material Master data.
  • Serve as a backup for other Master data functions as needed.

Minimum Experience:

  • At least 3-4 years of professional experience as an SAP Master Data Coordinator, Analyst, Specialist, etc.
  • Bachelor's Degree highly valued but not required.
  • Proficiency in SAP S4/Hana.
  • Familiarity with Winshuttle, SharePoint, IPS, and Service Now.
  • Understanding of Bill of Materials structure (BOM).
  • Experience working within Enterprise SAP environments, collaborating with onsite and remote teams.
  • Familiarity with Global supply chain and data governance standards.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and assist in projects.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
