We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Back End Developer to join our team. The role is based in Waterbury, Connecticut, and involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Back End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic for the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain server-side logic using C# and .Net.
Create code and libraries to be reused, optimizing the application for maximum speed and scalability.
Implement data storage solutions using databases.
Collaborate with front-end developers and project managers using JIRA to align on project requirements and timelines.
Utilize React.js to build user-facing components and implement them with server-side logic.
Deploy applications on cloud-based platforms, primarily Microsoft Azure.
Use GIT for version controlling and regularly committing changes.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Ensure that all user input is validated before submitting it to the back-end.
Implement security and data protection measures.
Integrate the front-end elements built by your coworkers into the application.
Requirements
Demonstrated proficiency in JIRA
Advanced knowledge in C# - Sharp
Proficiency in .NET
Experience with React.js
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
Proficient in GIT
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
Experience with test-driven development
Familiarity with continuous integration.
