Job Description

Maintain control of the product quality and the manufacturing process. Perform tasks that involve sampling, visual inspections, work area verification. Will determine if a product or component abides by the quality requisites already established. Implement and maintain quality system effectiveness. Min Requirements: Associates Degree in Biology, Physics, Mathematics or Science Education. Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish). Basic knowledge on GMP and ISO 9000. Basic mathematics skills.

Summary

Assists laboratory personnel in providing analysis support of compromised product complaints.

Provides support in attempting to retrieve and inventory Returned Goods associated with product

complaints.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
  • Assists laboratory personnel in providing analysis support by attempting to retrieve and inventory Returned Goods associated with product complaints.
  • Communicates with customers and affiliates in a professional manner via email, phone and fax to ensure timely retrieval attempts and shall elevate to management as needed.
  • Communication to customers and affiliates must be clearly written and professional. Candidate must be organized, focused, detailed oriented and be able to work independently at times.
  • Assists with maintaining inventory of proxy devices, sterile device returns. Learns process to ensure timely device retrieval and/or inventory processes to maintain compliance.
  • Helps to develop and implement process improvements by assisting management in researching and implementing changes in processes to reduce cycle time per established procedures.
  • Manages and sorts excel sheets to effectively execute complaint device retrieval attempts based on procedural requirements.

(Planning/Organization) Plans, organizes, and prioritizes own daily work routine to meet established schedule.

(Decision Making/Impact) Solves a variety of problems of limited to moderate scope and complexity requiring basic interpretation of defined procedures and practices. Maintains confidentiality in handling sensitive information or documents.

Qualifications

Education

  • H.S. diploma or equivalent plus 2-5 years of related work experience or equivalent combination. Two-year degree or some college credits preferred

Technical Skills

  • Candidate shall be familiar with using Microsoft office products (Outlook, Excel).
  • Applies broad knowledge of general technical concepts and practices and a general understanding of product or systems fundamentals
  • Utilizes increased knowledge of numerical and statistical data and computer software programs to resolve non-routine/moderately complex problems.
  • Will perform this job in a quality system environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.

  • Performs non-routine to moderately complex technical assignments using standard methods and sequences.
