Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

Position Summary: Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for the cleaning checkout / stay over guestrooms on a daily basis. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position and requires the ability to deliver a positive customer service experience to our guests

Duties And Responsibilities

Arriving to work on time and in full uniform

  • Cleaning of guestrooms for arriving and stay over guests.
  • Make beds in guestrooms to Hilton Garden Inn Standards
  • Replenish guest rooms supplies and amenities to include, bath supplies, soaps, towels, etc.
  • Dust furniture and equipment found in guestroom
  • Polish and shine bath and sink fixtures
  • Clean walls, floors, windows, door panels and furniture drawers.
  • Remove all existing trash in guestroom and deposit to trash disposal area.
  • Inspect for any missing or malfunctioning light bulbs and replace as needed.

Experience

Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Skills: Interpersonal skills, Knowledge of hotel facilities. Previous cleaning experience required.

Physical

The major responsibility in this position is to assist incoming and outgoing guests, therefore a significant portion of the day is spent carrying, lifting, walking, standing and speaking.

Must have good communication skills. Able to lift up to 45 lbs repetitively. Must be a team player!
