Position Overview

In this role, you will lead a team responsible for managing the financial operations of a robust portfolio of innovative products, driving over $30 billion in annual sales. This position is vital in providing strategic insights, analysis, and recommendations to support decision-making and optimize business performance. You will work closely with Commercial leaders to ensure revenue and operating expense targets are achieved for both current products and those in the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company’s growth and productivity objectives.
  • Anticipate market trends, assess risks, and recommend solutions to meet business goals.
  • Foster leadership and talent development within the finance team to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Serve as a key member of the Commercial Finance Leadership Team, guiding the US finance team toward achieving success.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders across multiple business units, influencing strategic decisions.
  • Provide timely, actionable insights to aid in swift decision-making.
  • Lead financial modeling and analysis for evaluating business opportunities.
  • Collaborate across departments to achieve financial and business objectives.
  • Support Commercial, Medical, and Market teams with financial insights to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Drive cash flow analytics and help markets achieve cash flow goals.
  • Maintain ongoing productivity savings and analytical support.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in multinational finance, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and experience managing complex, multi-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated success working within a matrix organization, fostering alignment and collaboration.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, modeling, and strategic planning.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, distribution, and marketing processes.
  • Strong adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments.
