Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain precise records of daily financial transactions and verify that they are accurately recorded in the ledger.
  • Prepare financial documents such as invoices, bills, accounts payable, and receivable.
  • Complete bank reconciliations, process payroll, and manage ledgers.
  • Assist with budget preparation and track organizational spending over a set timeline.
  • Analyze financial data and produce reports for senior management to aid in decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with governmental and fiscal policies and procedures.
  • Aid in the process of filing tax returns through the tax season.
  • Enhance systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.
  • Work closely with the Executive Accountant to handle client communications and projects.
  • Assist in implementing and improving financial processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role with increasing responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, Google products) and database management.
  • Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and a knack for problem-solving.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of handling confidential information with utmost discretion.
