  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

PrimeTalent is looking for a Litigation Associate for a legal client in Kansas City!

The Litigation Associate will play a key role in the litigation team, handling a diverse caseload and providing exceptional legal representation to our clients. This position is ideal for a smart, hardworking individual with a strong foundation in legal writing and a passion for advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs; conducting discovery; and preparing for and participating in trials, hearings, and arbitrations.
  • Analyze and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations to prepare legal arguments and advise on case strategy.
  • Engage in settlement negotiations and mediation to resolve disputes favorably.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and legal advice.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including networking and client outreach. Bringing existing clients is appreciated but not required.
  • Achieve an annual billable hour goal of 1,600 hours.
  • Participate in continuing legal education and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 3-10 years of litigation experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Courtroom experience is highly valued, though not a strict requirement.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
  • Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism
