Cybersecurity Data Scientist

NewGen is seeking a Cybersecurity Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leveraging advanced data analysis, machine learning and statistical models to solve critical cybersecurity challenges, drive innovation and improve decision-making across the organization.
This role is responsible for developing and deploying analytical models on data and processes. They collaborate with digital product teams to deliver insights to stakeholders, drive automation of processes, and to help improve decisions. This position will drive deployment of a variety of models and workflows using cloud-based model orchestration and data virtualization solutions. The role will require exploration and adoption of new technologies made available by IT engineering and cybersecurity teams.
Deep understanding of statistics and analysis. Skilled in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Ability to code in multiple languages. Knowledge of databases, data structures, and data architecture. Experience with data visualization tools. Experience with data transformation using common programming tools. Experience applying statistical analysis to large data sets. Strong communication including the ability to make presentations and deliver complex quantitative analyses in a clear, concise and manner. Mentors cyber data scientists. Familiarity with the RMF process. Experience with Relational Database Management System. Experience with Open-Source Framework. Experience with Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
Minimum qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience as a data scientist, with at least one year of that experience working with cybersecurity data sets
- Strong analytic background and knowledge of Natural Language Processing,
- Extensive experience with Python and data science libraries including Pandas, NumPy, and TensorFlow.
