Job Description

Interco is seeking a talented Front-End Developer with a strong background in JavaScript (ES6+) and React.js to contribute to an innovative Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project. In this role, the successful candidate will take the lead in crafting and executing sophisticated user interfaces for the company’s ERP software, aiming to deliver an unparalleled user experience. The Front-End Developer will work closely with back-end developers, designers, and product managers. This role involves turning project requirements into functional, visually captivating interfaces that enhance user interaction and satisfaction. Qualifications

Responsibilities Include

  • Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces for our ERP software using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React.js.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front end components with server-side logic, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional user interfaces, ensuring consistency with design guidelines and best practices.
  • Implement and maintain reusable components and libraries to streamline development and ensure consistency across the application.
  • Optimize front end code for maximum performance and scalability, considering factors such as browser compatibility and network latency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven experience as a Front-End Developer, building complex web applications or ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with translating Figma designs into interactive UI components.
  • Familiarity with version control using Git.
  • Solid understanding of Python and SQL for integrating with backend services.

Compensation:

  • $55,000-$65,000 Annual Salary commensurate with skillset and experience

The Interco recycling facilities are separated into three departments: nonferrous metals, computers and electronics, and battery processing. The nonferrous facility is located on the 40-acre main campus in Madison (IL) while the computers and electronics are processed in Edwardsville where the Administrative and some logistics offices are located. The commercial department is located on The Hill in St. Louis.
