Hiring an experienced Director of Product Analytics to manage a 10-person team within a growing technology company. You will provide leadership for the delivery of Advanced Analytics to build reporting metrics, dashboards, measurement of AL/ML models for our core Products. This team is critical to facilitate the connection between our Data Science, Engineering and Product teams. This is a cross-functional position managing a team of Product Data Analysts to deliver statistical data to our Product and Engineering teams.

Summary:

  • Responsible for leading a 10-person team developing new statistical techniques, product strategy, automating analytics framework, and measurement to build cutting-edge classification products.
  • Work closely with various data sources to streamline data for predictive, personalization, classification, and algorithm development.
  • Have a proven track record of drawing insights from data and translating those insights into tangible business outcomes.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Product teams, Data Science and Engineering.
  • Recruit, motivate, mentor, and develop team members.

Experience Must Have:

  • Minimum of 7+ years’ professional experience.
  • 4+ years’ experience in Data Analytics, measurement, and metrics.
  • Experience in data science, statistical analytics, product analytics.
  • Management of at least 3-4 direct reports is required.
  • Experience in Product Management is preferred.
  • Track record of team leadership, continual learning and attending conferences.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with computer vision, image classification, content moderation, classification, AI and artificial intelligence is strongly preferred/desired.
  • Experience with Python, NLP, BigQuery, Looker, Tableau, Databricks and AWS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Education:

  • Bachelors or Master’s in Mathematics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science or similar degree in a quantitative field.
