About the Role:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Interior Designer to join our luxury design firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to create sophisticated and timeless interiors for high-end residential or commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead designers with all aspects of interior design projects, including space planning, material selection, and presentation preparation.
- Conduct research on products, materials, and vendors to support design projects.
- Help maintain project timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
- Source, order, and track furniture, fabrics, and other design elements.
- Communicate with vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
- Assist in creating mood boards, design boards, and other visual presentations.
- Prepare and organize samples, client presentations, and project documentation
- Assist in the coordination and management of project schedules and budget.
- Visit project sites to take measurements, photograph spaces, and ensure designs are implemented correctly.
- Drive to project sites outside of the city as needed; a valid driver’s license is required for this role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in interior design.
- A strong eye for design, color, and detail.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and similar programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar programs.
- Excellent organizational, multi tasking, and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for design excellence
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A valid driver’s license and comfort with driving to project sites outside of the city.
