Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Technology Help Desk Administrator in Thomasville, GA. The Help Desk Administrator will be responsible for providing technical support, network and system administration, troubleshooting, and overall information technology assistance on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities

  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Qualifications

  • Associates degree and 5 years of IT support and/or IT infrastructure experience or Bachelor’s degree and 3 years IT support and/or IT infrastructure experience
  • 2-3 years of experience leading direct reports is strongly preferred
  • Server hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting experience (RAID, VMWare, File Backup and Recovery)
  • Microsoft operating systems and applications such as Active Directory, Intune, SharePoint, Office365, and Teams
  • Familiar with networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VLAN, Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, Ethernet)
  • Must be able to make fast decisions where remote supervision is not available. This includes subsequent communication of decision to management in a timely manner with the rationale for making the decision.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and the patience to work with users of all skill levels
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently, while achieving the desired results on time and within budget.
  • Ability to analyze user's needs and creatively provide hardware and software solutions which will allow them to function in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Flexibility to work on and solve various unscheduled projects and problems as they occur throughout the business day.
  • Professional Certifications offered by Microsoft or Cisco is a plus
