Are you ready to build your career by joining an international automotive company? If so, our client is hiring a Logistics Quality Specialist!

What You'll Do:

• Provides onsite Supplier Logistics production support to assure the supplier’s logistical line side delivery performance in series by using efficient problem-solving processes.
• Guaranties supplier launch and series capability by completing logistical qualification activities in the PEP (Product Development Process).
• Represents in high stress production critical situations.
• Examples:
• Supplier caused production to stop at Organization,
• Air freight (daily/hourly),
• Quality issues, logistics failures, supply chain failures, natural disasters, labor issues, and priority issues.
• Ensures that Organization has a higher priority than other OEM’s (Original Equipment Manufacturing).
• Represents Organization and maintains professional relationships with Suppliers especially in high stress situations.
• Establishes working networks with peers and Management to ensure assignment effectiveness.
• Provides transparency via assigning measures to Suppliers, by maintaining a list of open points and creating PowerPoint presentations.
• Organizes effective meetings, provides directions, and follow through to ensure measures are met.
• In the event of an emergency situation, may be required to assume the Supplier Logistics tasks: Logistics Planning, Production Planning, Material Control, Inventory Analyst, Logistics Manager or any other Logistics’ task as delegated by the Section Manager, Supply Chain Quality/Planning.
• Self-directed to carry out assigned project responsibilities and meet all deliverables within the designated deadlines.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Supervisor.

What You’ll Bring:

• BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Psychology or the equivalent of 4 years’ experience in the related area preferably in a manufacturing environment
• 4 plus years’ experience in Logistics to include issue resolution in the following areas:
• Supply Chain Planning,
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP),
• Material Control,
• Production Control,
• Warehouse Operations,
• Receiving operations,
• VPS,
• Lean Manufacturing,
• Returnable container management,
• JIS WoW and Transportation planning.
• Skills and Experience Expert 5+ Years
• Verbal and written communications skills.
• Degree of flexibility, initiative and self-motivation.
• Skills and Experience Advanced 3 to 5 Years
• On-site experience steering Logistics improvements at Suppliers, while developing successful working relationships under stressful conditions.
• Experience with Supplier qualification tool RGA/RMT, LOPA and Launch teams.
• Knowledge of the following systems: SAP, SCQ Ample, LPKM, GIS, and B2B.
• Experience with Wrong Delivery Mislabelling analysis and issue resolution at Suppliers including the L-FMEA approach.
• Experience interacting in the extended logistics cross section function within Group and other plants.
• Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel application knowledge
