Position Summary

As a Team Member of the Human Resources team, the Recruiting Specialist is a CRCR Ambassador and takes personal ownership to ensure all of their actions are in the best interest of the business. The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for working with management to find the best Team Members for CRCR. They evaluate applicants, assess their resumes and credentials, conduct interviews, and build a network of potential Team Members.

Position Functions

Essential Functions

  • Provide exceptional Guest service while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Support and motivate Team Members while ensuring team responsibilities are being performed according to established departmental standards.
  • Identify future hiring needs and develop job descriptions and specifications.
  • Consult with management to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
  • Develop recruitment goals and objectives and identify key recruiting KPIs.
  • Develop a sustainable recruiting strategy based on business goals and needs.
  • Plan and implement a recruitment marketing and employer branding strategy to attract high-quality applicants.
  • Attract suitable applicants through utilizing a multi-channel recruitment approach.
  • Organize and attend job fairs, campus events and other networking opportunities promoting the business reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity.
  • Collect and analyze data to maintain a current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, applicant availability, and demand in particular fields.
  • Counsel applicants on the interview and hiring process.
  • Check the applicant's references and credentials, verifying experience and background.
  • Screen and select qualified/interested applicants for the interviewing phase and connect viable applicants with the hiring managers.
  • Arrange meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants and hiring managers as necessary.
  • Follow up with the hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collect feedback when placement is unsuccessful.
  • Explain the parameters of the position and benefits package and help with the orientation process to get the new hire comfortable with the role.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with setting up new Team Members in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Identify systemic issues early and propose solutions.
  • Provide recruitment reports to Leadership.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, best practices, talent management, and employment law.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
  • 1+ years in a recruitment or similar Human Resource role.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users.
  • Advanced listening and strategic communication skills.
  • Familiarity with recruitment marketing.
  • Knowledge of basic marketing strategies.
  • Expertise in interpersonal dynamics and adaptability in diverse environments.
  • Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and standards.
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent relatable years’ experience.
  • 2+ years in a recruitment or similar Human Resource role.
